In keeping with the philosophy that every function in the Department other than patrol should be a support to the police officer who performs the patrol function, it is the duties of all personnel who work in this division to support the police officer on the street.
Commanded by a Deputy Chief, the Support Services Division manages:
- Public information services
- Fleet Maintenance
- IT and RMS computer services
- Planning, budgeting, grants and research
